Avignon
A few kilometers from the Bercail de Montmirail, you can discover the city of Avignon. In the heart of the city, you will appreciate the different monuments such as the Pont d'Avignon, the Palais des Papes, the cathedral and the rocher des Doms. Every year, one of the most important theater events takes place in Avignon.
Orange
The city of Orange is full of vestiges of another era, to be discovered. Among the most unmissable monuments, we advise you to visit the antique theater, the arch of triumph and the Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth Cathedral. It is on Saint-Eutrope hill that you will enjoy walking in a forest in the heart of the city.
Vaison-la-Romaine
Vaison-la-Romaine is an open-air museum. Visits to numerous monuments and exceptional places will be on the program of your expedition to Vaison la Romaine: the archaeological sites of Puymin and La Villasse, the Saint-Quenin chapel , the Ancient Theater, the Roman Bridge and the garden of the nine Damsels.

We recommend the markets of Carpentras, Valréas, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Malaucène and Vaison-la-Romaine.

Around our cottages at Bercail de Montmirail, you will find numerous wine estates such as Vacqueyras, Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas and even Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Take one of the region's many wine routes and take part in a tasting.

The Luberon Regional Natural Park is known and renowned for being home to a large number of exceptional perched villages. We particularly advise you to discover Gordes, Oppède-le-Vieux, Lacoste or Roussillon. The latter will surprise you with its flamboyant colors and its Ochre Trail.
